On a scale from 1 – 10 I rate my physical wellbeing a
6. I am well aware of my body and when
it is functioning at it’s best. At 43 I
am not as fit as I would like to be and need to spend more time
exercising. As regards my spiritual
wellbeing I would say I am a 6. I am
grounded but need to spend more time meditating and focusing on what is
important to me. I would say
psychologically I would rate myself an 8.
I have done lots of work with reading and therapy. I know what I stand for and what is important
to me. I consciously work on the
attributes that I feel I need to be stronger in. My goal physically is to exercise at least 4
days a week. My goal spiritually is to
do something for myself each day, such as a few minutes of meditation, reflection,
goal setting or even taking a walk. My
goal psychologically is to continue to practice the things that I need to work
on, such as acknowledging my own needs.
I have a gym membership and just need to make sure I go for the physical
activity. I can also incorporate taking
a walk at the beach, which could serve a dual purpose, spiritually and
physically. Psychologically, I need to
write down some goals and check in to see where I am with accomplishing these things. I found the crime of the century very
relaxing. When I thought of the red
light at the base of my spine, I felt so relaxed I was stuck to the couch. I enjoyed visualizing the colors and what
they represented. I did get distracted
once I reached the crown of my head, my husband yelled from the other room and
threw everything off. However, it was
most relaxing while I was in it.
Sheri,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are aware of your well-being in all aspects. I find that if you have someone to go to the gym with you, you are more likely to go. I like your idea about goal writing. This is something that I could probably benefit from as well. Your goals and strategies sound like they can be used for many people and may help our clients.
